I know we are all aware that the Houston Public Library's Jesse H. Jones
Building recently completed a major renovation.  Our past-chair, Julia
DeBerardinis, has agreed to give us a tour of the facility during our summer
meeting.  

Please join the Houston fine arts librarians at the Houston Public Library
downtown on Thursday, August 14th.  The Jones Building is located at 500
McKinney and underground parking is available.  We will meet at 9 a.m. in
room 479.  After the tour will we have a business meeting, where we will
follow-up on earlier efforts to create a Houston fine arts collections
report, share news from our home libraries, and elect a Vice
chair/Chair-elect for 08-09.  Please send me any additional agenda topics.  

The meeting will adjourn between 11 o'clock and noon.  After the meeting and
if you have time, you may want to stay downtown for a casual lunch with your
fellow librarians.
